Traction diabetic retinal detachment (pre and post op).

Retinal photograph of the right eye of a young insulin dependant diabetic patient with proliferative diabetic retinopathy and a traction retinal detachment. Visual acuity was reduced to 6/60.

Post operative photograph of the same patient 6 months after surgery showing significant resolute of the tractional detachment, visual acuity improved to 6/12 following surgery.
